Description	Hand painted charcoal bole (earth pigment) over a gesso base and waxed. The butterflies are hand painted in raised gesso and each one is unique. Some are water gilded in 12ct white gold leaf, some in 22ct moongold leaf and some left in charcoal bole. All of the butterflies are then burnished. Bevelled Mirror.
